San Francisco places Airbnb under pressure, according to the Financial newspaper of Saturday 2 July 2016. While Amsterdam scratches its head, San Francisco is getting to serious grips with Airbnb. Landlords must now register as companies and produce quarterly reports on who stays overnight anywhere. Airbnb must now actively check that itself. This week Airbnb took the municipality of San Francisco to court.
